RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

01 — Overview
The Black Edition Pty Ltd is committed to delivering products that meet the highest standard of quality. Our Returns & Refunds Policy is governed by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides consumers with guaranteed rights that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
02 — Australian Consumer Law Guarantees
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
- A repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
These rights apply regardless of any other conditions outlined in this policy.
03 — Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind on food and beverage products. This is standard practice for consumable goods and is consistent with Australian Consumer Law, which does not require businesses to accept change of mind returns.

04 — Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives faulty, damaged or in an unacceptable condition, we will provide a remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. To lodge a claim:
- Contact us at info@theblackedition.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs of the damaged or faulty goods where applicable
- We will assess your claim and respond within 3 business days
Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, the remedy offered will be either a replacement, store credit or full refund.
05 — Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that does not match your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@theblackedition.com.au with your order number and details of the discrepancy.
We will arrange for the correct item to be dispatched at no additional cost, or provide a full refund if the correct item is unavailable.
06 — Items Damaged in Transit
If your order is damaged in transit, please refer to our Shipping Policy for the process to report and resolve transit damage. We will work with the carrier on your behalf and provide an appropriate remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Return shipping costs for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods will be covered by The Black Edition Pty Ltd.
07 — Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution but are generally completed within 5 to 10 business days
- You will be notified via email once your refund has been processed
08 — Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded except where required under the Australian Consumer Law:
- Opened or partially consumed products
- Products returned without prior authorisation from us
- Products damaged due to misuse, mishandling or improper storage after delivery
